ALLY MCCOIST reckons Rangers should have included Aaron Ramsey in their match day squad for tonight's game against Celtic.
The Welsh international moved to Ibrox on-loan from Juventus on Monday in one of the biggest Scottish football transfers in recent seasons.
Giovanni van Bronckhorst has since revealed that Ramsey will not be involved against Celtic tonight and McCoist reckons he should have been included.
Discussing live on talkSPORT, Gabby Agbonlahor said, “It doesn’t make sense to not have Ramsey in the squad. At least have him on the bench.”
McCoist agreed, saying, “I agree. He should be on the bench. It gives you a boost.”
Ahead of Wednesday’s cinch Premiership encounter at Parkhead, van Bronckhorst said: “Aaron trained with the squad. He is just coming back from a couple of weeks when he didn’t play, so it’s too soon for him to be involved, but I expect him to be in the squad in the near future, really quick.”
