AARON RAMSEY is in line to make his Rangers debut when the champions host Hearts on Sunday afternoon.
The Juventus midfielder clinched a headline-grabbing switch to Ibrox earlier this week as he put pen-to-paper on a loan deal until the end of the campaign.
But he had to sit in the stands as Giovanni van Bronckhorst's side crashed to a 3-0 Old Firm defeat and surrendered top spot in the Premiership standings just hours later.
Ramsey is now in contention for a place against the Jambos, however, as Van Bronckhorst prepares to welcome Alfredo Morelos back into his squad after a frustrating international week with Colombia.
The striker didn't make an appearance during the World Cup qualifiers with Peru and Argentina in recent days and his absence has been notable as Rangers have drawn with Ross County and then lost to Celtic.
But Morelos could now come straight back into the Light Blues' attack as Rangers attempt to put their Old Firm horror show behind them and start to rebuild some momentum in the title race.
Van Bronckhorst said: "Yes, Alfredo trained on Friday. He came back late on Thursday night.
"I think he had three flights again coming back from Colombia but he trained as normal on Friday and he will be available for Sunday.
"The only one who is not available is (Ianis) Hagi, of course, with his injury. The other ones are available.
"Aaron Ramsey had a session on Friday that also went really good. We have to assess him today but he looks good as well. So we can add more players on Sunday."
