RANGERS will open contract talks with Joe Aribo and Ryan Kent as boss Giovanni van Bronckhorst attempts to convince them to commit their long term futures to the champions.
Van Bronckhorst revealed earlier this month that discussions will take place with striker Alfredo Morelos regarding an extension to his current Ibrox deal.
Aribo and Kent are also out of contract at the end of next season and Rangers could look to cash in on their key assets in the summer rather than risk losing them for free further down the line.
Van Bronckhorst remains eager to retain the services of two of his most influential performers and said: "I haven’t spoken to them about extending their contracts or new talks.
"That’s something the club will do in the near future. We must make sure we have the future well planned.
"Of course these are players who are very important for our team, so the talks will begin.
"The players with these qualities you want to have as long as possible at your club."
Both Aribo and Kent will have integral roles to play for Rangers tomorrow evening as Van Bronckhorst's side take on Borussia Dortmund in their Europa League glamour tie.
Van Bronckhorst won't be able to call on the services of defender Leon Balogun as he continues his recovery from the hamstring injury that forced him off during the win over Hibernian but Ryan Jack is available for selection.
The Ibrox boss chose not to include Filip Helander in his list for the Dortmund tie and said: “Filip is not in our squad. We have limited spaces unfortunately to get players registered.
"So for me to put Helander out was a difficult decision because he is a very important player for us. But he only played his first 60 minutes after so many months so he is not in the squad.
“Leon is not available for [the Dortmund game] hopefully he will be available for next week.
"Ryan trained as normal the last couple of days so he is fit to come with us to Germany.”
