TONIGHT'S Scottish Championship fixture between Dunfermline and Partick Thistle has been postponed due to a waterlogged pitch.

It was reported by both sides on social media.

The match at East End Park was a due to be televised on the BBC Scotland channel and would have been a chance for the home side to get back on track after their defeat last time out to Kilmarnock.

Similarly the game would have provided the opportunity for Thistle to continue their promotion charge as they currently sit fifth in the table with what will now be three games in hand.

The re-arranged date for the fixture is not yet known but will be announced in due course.
