FORMER Celtic striker Chris Sutton was pleased as his old team showed their character to defeat Dundee 3-2 at Parkhead.
Danny Mullen handed the visitors a shock lead in Glasgow before a quick-fire brace from Giorgos Giakoumakis turned the game in Ange Postecoglou's side's favour.
Ryan Sweeney looked like he may have snatched a point for the Tayside club when he headed home a second-half equaliser before Giakoumakis sealed hos hat-trick five minutes from time as Celtic picked up a huge three points in the title race.
Posting on Twitter, Sutton praised Celtic's resolve after watching his former team come from behind to seal the victory as the ex-England internationalist singled out Giakoumakis.
"Ugly win but 3 important points," he wrote.
