Alfredo Morelos Rangers £20million transfer exit rubbished by agent
RANGERS star Alfredo Morelos' agent has rubbished reports linking the striker with a transfer to Russia.
Links have emerged in South America suggesting that Zenit St Petersburg are keen to sign the 25-year-old for £20million.
The Russian transfer window closes on Tuesday evening.
Reports say that Zenit wante to strengthen in their forward areas, with Morelos on their wish list.
However, the striker's agent, Michael Gorman, has branded the links false, insisting Morelos is going nowhere.
Gorman told Sport24: “This information is not true. No proposals have been received from Russia.”
Morelos has hit form at a good point in the season, bagging four goals in as many games - including against Borussia Dortmund.
