FORMER Celtic defender Jeremy Toljan is being linked with a move to Bayern Munich after reigniting his career in Italy with Sassuolo.
The 27-year-old, formerly on the books at Borussia Dortmund, spent the second half of the 2018-19 campaign on loan at Parkhead and underwhelmed before returning to Germany.
Toljan spent the next two years on loan at Sassuolo before making the permanent switch to Serie A last summer and has impressed enough to reportedly catch the eye of Bayern.
Italian site calciomercato.it credit the Bundesliga giants with an interest in the German, adding that Sassuolo will go ahead with the proposed transfer "if the right offers arrive".
The report adds that Toljan worked with Bayern manager Julian Nagelsmann at Hoffenheim.
