RED STAR BELGRADE have been warned to expect a thunderous atmosphere when they travel to Ibrox in less than two-weeks time for their Europa League last-16 tie with Rangers.

Celtic youth coach Miodrag Krivokapic has told his old side it will be similar to what Borussia Dortmund experienced on Thursday just past.

The Serbians will visit Glasgow on March 10, but Giovanni van Bronckhorst's men make the return leg trip to Belgrade.

And Krivokapic is expecting to see fiery atmospheres at both games.

He told Sport Klub: "There is no doubt that the atmosphere at the stadiums, both in Glasgow and in Belgrade, will be fantastic.

"Ibrox thundered in all 90 minutes of the second leg with Borussia, 50,000 supporters in the stands.

"The picture will, of course, be repeated for the visit of the Red Star.

"We also know what kind of spectacle, what kind of fan party, the Serbian fans know how to put on in their own back yard."

He added: "They're a good team. Defense, midfield, attack, everything in place.

"What other testimony do you need than the Borussia Dortmund result?

"In the foreground is the Colombian international Alfredo Morelos, who had problems with discipline during Steven Gerrard's tenure, but is now playing his best football since he came to Glasgow.

"Physically strong, at first glance he seems heavy, but he's not. He is also fast, he has a great eye goal, he loves a battle, and is decent in the air too.

"I would also like to mention the young, talented Ryan Kent, dangerous on the wing.

"The guy is like lightning, explosive, full of energy, and also makes good decisions.

"Then there's James Tavernier, right back, captain, Englishman, focused not only on taking care of his goal, but also tirelessly marauding in the opposition half.

"He loves to get forward, he's regularly on the scoresheet and is dangerous on free-kicks and penalties."
