Celtic tie down top teenage talent on professional deal to fend off EPL interest
CELTIC have tied down top teenage talent Daniel Kelly on a professional contract.
We told you yesterday how reports had emerged that the club were keen to sign the 16-year-old on a full-time deal.
They were up against steep Premier League interest though, with Arsenal said to be monitoring him.
Now, Celtic have confirmed the three-year deal on Twitter.
A statement read: "Celtic FC is delighted to announce that it has completed the signing of Daniel Kelly on his first professional contract. Daniel has joined on a three year contract.
"Everyone at the Club wishes Daniel well and every success for his future with Celtic".
