THE World Cup may be several months away.

And with the season run-in now upon us after the first international break of the year, Qatar 2022 is probably quite far from everyone's minds.

However, the draw for the first winter World Cup will take place tomorrow on Friday, April 1.

While Scotland have yet to confirm their place at the major finals, Steve Clarke and Co. of course have a vested interest.

With outstanding play-off games against Ukraine and Wales still to be played, qualification for the tournament is very much on the cards.

Work has still to be done though.

But with the Pots confirmed today by FIFA in line with the latest World Rankings, Scotland at least now know who potentially lies in waiting.

Scotland will be placed in Pot 4, along with Ukraine and Wales - whoever qualifies from the tie.

There are a few other undecided spots too, with the likes of New Zealand, Australia and the UAE still battling it out to make up the final 32-teams.

And here are the confirmed pots from FIFA ahead of the big day in Doha.
