RANGERS star John Lundstram could be an injury concern for Thursday night's Europa League clash against Braga.

The midfielder started today's match against St Mirren in Paisley, alongside Aaron Ramsey and Joe Aribo in the middle of the park.

However, the ex-Sheffield United star lasted only 25-minutes before being forced off.

The midfielder went down unchallenged as he required treatment from the Gers medical team.

On footage caught on Sky, Lundstram appeared to be pointing to his groin area.

Glasgow Times:

Moments before going down off the ball, the Gers player had been involved in a touchline chase with Jordan Jones, as he tracked the St Mirren winger back to his own byline.

Steven Davis replaced Lundstram for his first appearance in some time.

And while the experienced Northern Ireland hero is a more than capable deputy, with this week's Europa League quarter-final decider coming up, Rangers will be sweating over Lundstram's fitness for the crucial game.

Things didn't look good for Filip Helander either, who was also a first-half substitute with what looked like a foot injury.

He's not in the Europa League squad however, so those worries are not quite as prominent.

Youngster Leon Kind replaced the Swede, as Leon Balogun remainder on the bench.
