IT's fair to say that Celtic weren't best pleased when Rangers scored the winning goal in extra-time at Hampden this afternoon.

Giovanni van Bronckhorst's men ran out 2-1 winners after 120-minutes at the national stadium in what was a huge Scottish Cup result in more way than one.

Rangers will now go on to meet Hearts in the final of the competition on Saturday May 21, as they also continue their European dream in the coming weeks.

Celtic look increasingly likely to win the Premiership title with just five games remaining.

However, their chance of winning another treble is over having be beaten by their arch city rivals on Sunday afternoon.

Glasgow Times:

It was going well for Ange Postecoglou's men, as Greg Taylor slotted home to give the Hoops the lead.

However, a lovely finish from Scott Arfield forced the match into extra-time, before a Carl Starfelt own-goal meant that Rangers emerged victorious.

And the admin behind Celtic's official Twitter account clearly wasn't too happy when the winning goal went in.

In the immediate aftermath of the goal, posting updates from Hampden for their fans at home on social media, they wrote: "Goal for the opposition."

It's certainly not unusual for official club accounts to bluntly communicate when reacting a bitterly disappointing result.
