JOHN MCGINN has given John Terry his seal of approval following his trip to Celtic Park for Sunday's derby match against Rangers.

The former England and Chelsea captain was north of the border this weekend, as he branded it on social media his "bucket list weekend".

Terry coached at Aston Villa under Dean Smith until this season, with John McGinn of course working under the pair since his move from Hibs in 2018.

Terry was pictured inside Parkhead with a Celtic scarf on as he took in the crunch derby clash.

The match finished 1-1 with Jota and Fashion Sakala grabbing the goals.

And McGinn has approved of his former coach's trip.

The Scotland star commented on JT's Instagram post: “Now we are talking.”

He capped off the comment with a love heart eyed emoji and four-leaf clover.
