ANGE POSTECOGLOU has distanced himself from Hammarby left-back Mohanad Jeahze.
Reports had suggested that Celtic had agreed a £2million fee for the defender, with Postecoglou keen to strengthen his left side.
But during today's press conference, the Aussie boss appeared surprised when Jeahze's name was put to him.
He responded: “I don’t know the one you’re talking about.
“We haven’t had any discussions with any player about bringing them in right now… there’s nothing that will be concluded in the next week or so”
Jeahze has no shortage of suitors after impressing in the Swedish top flight and reports had suggested that Celtic had won the race for the Iraqi's signature.
Jeahze - who was born in Sweden but represents Iraq, where his parents are from, at international level - was the subject of interest from Polish outfit Lech Poznan during the January transfer window but elected to stay at Hammarby.
