KEVIN THOMSON has blasted Chris Sutton for a "lack of class" in his Rangers message after the Europa League final.
The former Rangers midfielder fumed at Sutton's dig at Rangers after the penalty shoot-out loss to Eintracht Frankfurt.
Celtic hero Sutton had aimed a penalty jibe at Rangers after the defeat.
Sutton's tweet read: "Great effort in the Europa League from Rangers and the players have given their all.
"With the amount of penalties they’ve been awarded this season I fancied them in the shootout mind.
"Well done to Frankfurt though."
But Thomson called Sutton out for his message as he insisted it showed a "lack of class" after the cruel defeat.
Thomson wrote: "Lack of class that as a ex player!!
"Don’t surprise me tho!!
"To see fellow pro’s regardless of rivalry get beat like that, it’s a cruel game at best of times."
