KYOGO FURUHASHI and Daizen Maeda have been called up to the Japan national team.
The Celtic pair have been included in the Samurai Blue side for friendly matches against Paraguay and Brazil.
They're also in the frame to feature in the Kirin Cup semi-final against Ghana next month.
However, fellow Celtic players Reo Hatate and Yosuke Ideguchi have not been included in the national team.
Hatate has been a key player for Celtic and featured heavily during the season, with suggestions he could miss out for a well-earned rest.
Ideguchi meanwhile played a bit-part role for Celtic this season since his arrival from the J-League in January.
