IT's certainly not secret that Chris Sutton enjoys a wind up.

And it's fair to say that the former Celtic striker is at it again today.

Rangers take on Hearts in the Scottish Cup final this afternoon as the curtain comes down on another wonderful season in Scotland.

The showpiece showdown at Hampden comes a matter of days after Giovanni van Bronckhorst's side suffered heartache in the Europa League final against Eintracht Frankfurt.

The Germans ran out 5-4 winners after penalties after the game finished 1-1.

There was plenty of debate this week as to where Rangers' achievement of reaching the Europa League final ranks in Scottish football.

And Sutton has taken to social media to take a cheeky swipe at those suggesting it would be greater than Celtic's European Cup win in Lisbon back in the 60s.

He wrote on Twitter: "Good luck to both teams in the Scottish Cup Final today. If Rangers win it will surpass Celtic’s 1967 team as the greatest achievement ever in the world…"
