RANGERS are set to take on Ligue 1 side Stade Rennes in a pre-season friendly, French reports have claimed.
TVR35 reporter Christophe Penven reports Rennes will travel to Glasgow for a friendly in July.
It's claimed Rennes will play Aston Villa at home, then travel to Glasgow to play Rangers before playing Caen in Ornano in a July triple-header.
The French side finished fourth in the top-flight last season and reached the round of 16 of the Europa Conference League.
And now they're reportedly set to play Rangers and former Ibrox boss Steven Gerrard's Aston Villa in their preparations for next season.
Journalist Mr Penven, reports: "Aston Villa in Rennes, Glasgow Rangers in Glasgow, Caen in Ornano, here are 3 friendly matches already scheduled for July for Stade Rennais @TVR35 @staderennais"
