DUNDEE have narrowed down their manager search to former Hibs duo Jack Ross and Shaun Maloney.
The Dens Park outfit are on the lookout for a new boss after Mark McGhee left the club at the end of the season.
Dundee are now looking for a new manager to get them out of the Championship after what looks like an ill-advised decision in February to sack James McPake, the man who brought them up from the second tier a year ago.
Maloney and Ross are now the front runners for the position after Dundee narrowed their shortlist down to two from five.
Ross has past experience of promotion out the Championship with St Mirren, while Maloney was just recently sacked at Hibs after his first four months in management.
