PARTICK THISTLE manager Ian McCall is keen on bringing Rangers duo Kai Kennedy and James Maxwell on loan to Firhill for the new season - and the pair could be used as part of a deal to send promising Jags striker Cameron Cooper the other way, according to reports.
As a former player, the Thistle manager enjoys a strong relationship with Ibrox and has regularly taken youngsters on loan from the Govan club.
McCall is a long-term admirer of Kennedy's and has previously worked with left-back Maxwell at Ayr United.
The Daily Record report that McCall is keen to bring the pair to the Maryhill outfit to help the Jags' push for promotion to the Championship, adding that Cooper could move to the south side of Glasgow as part of the negotiations.
The Scotland Under-17s internationalist as caught the eye of Ibrox chiefs, who are reportedly 'trying to strike a compensation deal with Thistle'.
