KILMARNOCK are set to replace James Fowler as their Head of Football Operations, according to reports.
The Killie hero looks to be ready to step down from his role ahead of the new campaign.
The Scottish Sun say that the Rugby Park hierarchy are carrying out a management reshuffle.
This will involve Fowler moving on from his role as head of scouting at recruitment at the Ayrshire club.
However, the 41-year-old will remain at Killie, but in a different position - which has yet to be announced.
Fowler has been in his current role for around two-and-a-half years.
He played over 500 games for the club and has also taken caretaker charge on two occasions.
It is understood that the majority of Killie's first team will report back for medical tests on Friday before some further fitness work over the weekend.
Pre-season will commence next week, with a trip to Inverclyde on the cards.
