RANGERS have learned a list of their potential Champions League third qualifying round opponents after this afternoon's second-round draw.

Giovanni van Bronckhorst's side enter the competition in the third qualifying round and will be hoping to navigate that and the play-off round to make the group stage.

However, they'll have to overcome two Euro double-headers to make it to the group stage of the Champions League.

And Van Bronckhorst was today given a hint as to the sides he could come up against in the third qualifying round.

UEFA chiefs conducted the second qualifying round draw today with clubs competing through the League Path on a potential collision course with the six teams - including Rangers - already waiting in the third round of qualifiers.

Midtjylland face AEK Larnaca of Cyprus to make the third qualifying round with Dynamo Kyiv taking on Fenerbache.

The winners of the matches will join Rangers, Benfice, PSV Eindhoven. Monaco, Sturm Graz and Union Saint-Gilloise in the third qualifying round draw.

For the draw the teams will be split into four seeded and four unseeded teams.

Rangers - thanks to their 33rd spot in the UEFA club coefficient rankings - will be seeded in theory meaning an easier draw.

But, already it's clear which teams Rangers could face in the third qualifying round.

Rangers could play the winners of Midtjylland or AEK Larnaca, face a match against Monaco, take on Sturm Graz or play Union Saint-Gilloise.

The Champions League third qualifying round draw will take place on Monday 18 July at 11am.
