ST JOHNSTONE have this afternoon completed a double signing ahead of the new season.Β

Herald & Times exclusively told you how Andy Considine would pen a deal with the McDiarmid Park side following his departure from Aberdeen.

The Scotland defender left Pittodrie after 18-years at his boyhood club at the end of last season.Β

Callum Davidson has snapped up the highly-experienced centre-back to add to his ranks for the 2022/23 campaign.

Davidson has also brought in another familiar face, with Drey Wright joining following the expiry of his contract at Hibs.Β

The winger previously played for the Perth outfit under Tommy Wright in 2018.

But after some time away elsewhere in the Premiership, the Englishman is back on familiar territory.

Both players have signed two-year deals

A short St Johnstone statement reads: "The Football Club is delighted to announce the signing of Drey Wright and Andy Considine, both until the summer of 2024."
