MOTHERWELL will begin their Europa Conference League campaign at Fir Park.
The Scottish Premiership side yesterday discovered they'll face either Bala Town or Sligo Rovers in the second qualifying round next month.
However, UEFA have confirmed Motherwell will play the first tie at home despite a request for a fixture swap from the Lanarkshire club.
Motherwell chief executive Alan Burrows had revealed the club requested the home and away matches be changed to allow extra time for growth of the Fir Park pitch.
But, UEFA have confirmed the fixtures will remain as originally drawn with Motherwell at home in the first-leg on July 21 before an away match the following week.
Motherwell will find out which team they'll play on July 14 after Welsh side Bala Town and Irish club Sligo Rovers complete their two-legged qualifier.
A Motherwell update read: "UEFA have confirmed we will open our 2022/23 Europa Conference League campaign at home.
"Motherwell will take on the winners of Bala Town and Sligo Rovers in the second qualifying round at Fir Park on Thursday July 21, with the away tie taking place on July 28.
"Our opponents will be confirmed on 14 July, after the first round of qualifying matches are concluded.
"Bala Town have confirmed that Park Hall Stadium will be their home venue for their European matches this season.
"Kick-off times and ticket information will be communicated in due course."
