ROBBY MCCRORIE is wanted for a sensational transfer to English giants Manchester United, according to reports.

The Rangers keeper looks set to be on his way out of Ibrox this summer and he is attracting interest from north and south of the border.

And now The Sun say that Erik ten Hag is plotting a swoop to bring McCrorie to Old Trafford as part of his goalkeeping plans.

McCrorie only made two appearances for the Ibrox outfit last season after spending the previous year on loan with Livingston.

He kept two clean sheets during those games, but was mainly used as cover for McGregor and McLaughlin.

With McGregor's future yet to be cleared up, Jon McLaughlin looks set to be Giovanni van Bronckhorst's new No.1 next term, and that could spark McCrorie's exit.

St Johnstone, Kilmarnock, Dundee United and Ross County are among the Scottish clubs who could be interested in a move.
