CELTIC are 'set to announce' the permanent signing of Jota from Benfica, according to reports.
The Portugese winger made a huge impact in his loan spell at Parkhead last season and the club are now keen on a full-time move.
Celtic are thought to have a £6.5million transfer clause as part of their loan deal with Benfica.
And Jota's parent club are reported to be keen on finalising transfer dealings out of the club to aid their own summer transfer plans.
Portuguese outlet Record now reports that the deal is close to being announced by the Parkhead club.
Ange Postecoglou previously confirmed his hope to land both Cameron Carter-Vickers and Jota on permanent deals after successful loan spells last term.
US international Carter-Vickers finalised a move to Parkhead last week, with a move for Jota widely expected to go ahead.
Speaking before the summer window, Postecoglou explained: “We are in discussions with them obviously and, as I have said all along, with these kind of things it’s never a simple process.
“But both had unbelievable years for us and been outstanding contributors and both are really happy here. Our intent is to try and keep them at our football club, but these things need a point where all parties agree.
“I am hopeful we will get to that point, but at this point we are not quite there yet.”
