REPORTS in Turkey say Rangers are in talks with Turkish outfit Besiktas over a deal for striker Alfredo Morelos.

Fanatik suggest that the Super Lig outfit will hold talks with the Colombian this week over a possible transfer deal.

Morelos is out of contract in 2023 and it remains to be seen whether he will make a big-money move.

The Rangers striker has never shied away from discussing a big-money move away from Ibrox and he has revealed that he would like to test himself in an elite European league.

Despite this, he has also hailed the Ibrox fans for their support during his time at the club.

“Rangers fans are loyal fans who support us everywhere we play," he explained to a Colombian radio station.

“That feeling of knowing fans travelled to other countries, far away from Glasgow, is wonderful.

“I feel that unconditional support, they love me a lot, they cheer my name at every game in every stadium.

“As a player, this motivates me to keep working, keep playing well and to want to stay playing there for years to come.”

We told last week how Morelos was linked with Spanish outfit Sevilla.

The La Liga giants are priced at 3/1 to sign the Ibrox frontman, with Steven Gerrard's Aston Villa second-best at 6/1.

Crystal Palace (7/1) and Newcastle (8/1) are also quoted with Leicester the current outsiders at 10/1.
