JAKE HASTIE has officially left Rangers.
The former Motherwell player has joined Hartlepool United on a permanent deal.
The 23-year-old becomes the latest Scot to move to the League Two outfit under Paul Hartley.
Euan Murray left Kilmarnock to join the Pools today also.
And after an unsuccessful time at Rangers, Hastie has moved on as he aims to get his career back on track.
Paul Hartley said: "Delighted to get Jake in. Someone I’ve seen a lot of. He needs a change of scenery. Still a young lad. He needs a home and somewhere where someone can believe him. He’s got real pace. Very good in one on one situations and I know he will bring a lot of excitement.
Hastie added: "This is an exciting move for me. I'm ready to push on and help the team the best way I can.
"I've seen a lot of videos and pictures of the fans and I can see they create an unbelievable atmsophere, I can't wait to get started."
A Rangers statement reads: "#RangersFC can today announce Jake Hastie has departed for @Official_HUFC, with the clubs having reached an agreement for his permanent transfer.
"He leaves Ibrox with the best wishes of everyone at the football club."
