ST MIRREN have announced the signing of Scotland international Declan Gallagher from Aberdeen.
The Paisley club this morning confirmed the central defender, 31, had penned a deal after his exit from Pittodrie.
Gallagher left Aberdeen after his contract was terminated but immediately signed for St Mirren on a two-year deal.
The stopper will join the St Mirren squad tomorrow ahead of a pre-season trip to Northern Ireland.
The Buddies landed Gallagher after an ambitious offer from Paisley chiefs. The deal was thought to be off at one stage before Stephen Robinson got his man.
Confirming his Pittodrie exit, an Aberdeen statement read: "We can this morning confirm Declan Gallagher has left the Club.
"The 31-year-old has departed Pittodrie having had his contract terminated.
"Everyone at AFC wishes Declan all the best for the future."
