RANGERS are among several clubs interested in a move for Derby captain Tom Lawrence, according to reports.

The Wales international is set to leave Derby and move as a free transfer on the expiry of his Derby contract later this month.

The Rams had been keen to keep Lawrence, but after Wayne Rooney's dugout departure and relegation from the Championship it's expected the player will move on.

The Daily Mail report West Brom are leading the race to sign the creative player - but a number of clubs are said to be interested.

Rangers are among those credited with an interest in a free transfer swoop for the former Manchester United starlet.

Sheffield United and Watford are also claimed to be keen on a move.
