JORDAN JONES has been linked with a return to the Scottish Premiership with Kilmarnock as he looks set to exit Wigan this summer.
The former Rangers winger spent part of last season on loan at St Mirren and he could now return to Rugby Park, where he made his name in Scotland.
The Sun say Wigan are keen to loan Jones to Kilmarnock and will pay part of his wages to make the deal happen.
During his previous stint at Killie, Jones scored 11 goals in 119 appearances and as a result landed a transfer to Rangers.
The move to Ibrox did not go as planned though and the Northern Irishman was utilised as a bit-part player during his stint.
Jones was snapped up by Wigan last term and penned a three-year deal, but he has failed to edge his way into starting XI plans thus far.
