FERENCVAROS sporting director Tamas Hajnal has warned that it is 'almost impossible' that Celtic target Ryan Mmaee will be going anywhere this summer.

Mmaee, 24, played at Parkhead last season for the Hungarian champions in a 2-0 defeat in the group stages of the Europa League and the attacker is said to be on Ange Postecoglou's wishlist.

The Moroccan chipped in with 17 goals and 11 assists for Ferencvaros last season before his campaign was brought to a premature end due to an ankle injury.

The forward is still recovering from the setback and Hajnal says Mmaee's condition effectively rules out a summer move.

When asked by fan website Ulloi129 if there was any movement on Mmaee's move to Parkhead, Hajnal replied: "No. He is currently recovering from his injury, we are waiting for him to help us when he is in good condition.

"It is almost impossible for him to leave before the World Cup in Qatar at the end of the year."

However, Hajnal admitted that nothing is set in stone.

He added: "At the moment, every position has the right competitive situation. Based on the composition, we can play football in different game systems.

"But I cannot conclusively state that there will be no more changes. There is still a lot of time until the end of the transfer window."
