RANGERS are targeting a move for former Derby star Tom Lawrence as Giovanni van Bronckhorst bids to bolster his Ibrox attack for the second time this summer.
The Dutchman has landed top target Antonio Colak in a £1.8million deal from PAOK after the Greeks finally agreed to sanction a switch for the striker this week.
Now Lawrence could be set to join him at Ibrox as Rangers fight it out with Sheffield United to land the Welsh international.
Lawrence is a free agent after signalling his intention to leave Derby County following their relegation to League One last term.
The 28-year-old has also turned out for the likes of Blackburn Rovers, Cardiff City and Ipswich Town during his career south of the border.
And he could now be tasked with firing Rangers to the Premiership title and into the Champions League as Van Bronckhorst aims to add to his forward options once again this summer.
