CELTIC have made a bid for St Mirren youngster Dylan Reid, according to reports.
The 17-year-old is highly rated by the Buddies after he broke through the Paisley youth system.
Celtic have tracked Reid's progress and have now made an offer to St Mirren, with The Sun reporting that Saints are now in talks with the Hoops over a deal.
Stephen Robinson was keen to bring Reid into his first-team plans next season, but it remains to be seen whether he will remain at the club.
Rangers have also been linked with Reid, while European giants Benfica are also said to be interested.
Reid became the youngster player to play in the Scottish Premiership after coming on against Rangers last term.
