Ismaila Soro has departed Celtic on loan after linking up with Portuguese outfit FC Arouca.
The Ivory Coast international has joined the Primeira Liga side on a season-long deal, with an option to buy included.
The 24-year-old has failed to become a first-team regular during his two-years at Parkhead and he is now keen to find game-time elsewhere.
Soro did feature on 19 occasions for the Hoops last season under Ange Postecoglou. However, the vast majority of these were from the bench.
Postecoglou is keen to sign another midfielder after the departures of Nir Bitton and Tom Rogic so it seems that Soro's game-time will not increase in the season ahead.
Soro was previously close to a move to Fortuna Sittard in the Eredivisie but it fell through.
