ST JOHNSTONE are set to complete the signing of Kilmarnock goalkeeper Sam Walker.
The 30-year-old is set to switch Rugby Park for McDiarmid Park with Callum Davidson having been on the lookout for a replacement for the departing Zander Clark.
Walker battled it out with Middlesbrough loanee Zach Hemming for the No1 jersey last term at Kilmarnock, but this season he is keen to gain more first-team minutes.
Saints will offer the former Chelsea and Millwall youngster exactly that with the club preparing for life without Scotland international Clark, following his summer exit.
Herald and Times Sport told previously how Stoke City are the favourites to sign Clark.
Walker’s arrival at St Johnstone will likely see upcoming goalkeeper Ross Sinclair exit the club on loan this summer.
