RANGERS are set to continue their signing spree at academy level by completing a deal for Hibernian striker Connor Young.
The 17-year-old was a prolific part of Under-18 side that was guided by Gareth Evans last term and scored 25 goals during an impressive campaign.
Young's efforts helped Hibs win the league on a points-per-game basis and also reach the semi-finals of the Scottish Youth Cup before losing to the Light Blues.
Rangers have overhauled their Auchenhowie squads in recent weeks as the likes of Cameron Cooper and Kieron Willox have arrived from Partick Thistle and Inverness Caley Thistle respectively, while Lancelot Pollard has moved from Aberdeen and Bailey Rice joined after leaving Motherwell.
And Young, who spent time on loan at Civil Service Strollers during the 2020/21 season, is now poised to become the next rising star to move to Ibrox as Rangers continue to reshape their academy structure ahead of the new campaign.
