RANGERS have today released their new Castore away shirt for the 2022/23 season and fans will have to buy the jersey with defunct sponsor Sportemon Go on the back.
The NFT company went bust after their branding had already been printed on thousands of Gers shirts.
The Ibrox club have received criticism from some fans for their partnership with Sportemon Go when it was first announced and supporters will be frustrated with the branding on their new shirts.
Rangers have though confirmed that they will offer free cover-ups when a replacement back of shirt sponsorship deal is announced this year.
The club said: "The back of the shirt displays SportemonGo and the Rangers Store will offer supporters the complimentary option to have new branding applied in this area, when we announce our new 22/23 season back of shirt partner within the coming weeks."
The new design features a round neck collar, a diagonal red print inspired by away shirts of the past, and the classic Rangers scroll crest.
