GORDON RAMSAY has posed with Rangers captain James Tavernier amid talk of a new bumper contract for the Ibrox skipper.
The right-back has been a hugely influential figure on and off the park since moving from Wigan Athletic in 2015.
And he could now finish his career in Glasgow after finalising a long-term contract that sees him commit to Rangers once again.
Tavernier's current deal was due to run until 2024 but a two-year extension has now been agreed as boss Giovanni van Bronckhorst ties down one of his key players.
The club are yet to confirm the deal, but today Tavernier posed with with celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay, who visited the club's training ground.
Rangers posted the picture with the caption: "The Captain & The Chef".

Ramsay also posed with former Light Blues defender Richard Gough.
In a post on Instagram, Gough, 60, said: "Up at Rangers FC training ground today and bumped into this legend. Good Fella."
The Hell's Kitchen star was given a trial at the Ibrox club as a teenager but never made the grade in the professional game.
