THE draw for the last 16 of the Premier Sports Cup will take place on Sunday as the Premiership's big hitters enter the competition.

The five Scottish teams involved in European competition this term - Celtic, Rangers, Hearts, Dundee United and Motherwell - will enter the hat at this round, along with the eight group winners and the three best-placed runners-up.

The European contingent and the three top group winners will be seeded for the draw.

When does it take place?

The draw will go ahead at Pittodrie Stadium, immediately after Aberdeen's match against Raith Rovers, which kicks off at 3pm.

Is it on TV?

Yes. Premier Sports will be broadcasting the draw live once the Aberdeen v Raith tie concludes, roughly around 5pm - unless the game goes to penalties.

Is there a live stream?

Yes. Premier Sports subscribers can stream the draw live on their devices.

When will the matches be played?

The matches are scheduled to be played 'midweek on the weekend of August 30/31 and are subject to TV selections', add the SPFL.
