Former Celtic star Chris Sutton reckons Greg Taylor will start the season as first-choice at left-back.
The Hoops spent £3.75m on Argentinian defender Alexandro Bernabei in the summer but he's looked slightly shaky at times in pre-season.
As Sutton points out, it's understandable that the 21-year-old will take time to adjust to a new style of play, club and culture.
And the outspoken pundit reckons the former Kilmarnock man Taylor is a safe pair of hands while Bernabei gets up to speed.
He told the Daily Record: "Alexandro Bernabei has been signed to challenge at left-back, but it’s early days and he’s looked a little unsure so far.
"That’s perfectly understandable. The Argentine is settling into a new system in new surroundings and it’ll take time, so I feel Greg Taylor will start."
