Kieran Tierney is on Manchester City' shopping list and they have spoken to Arsenal about a transfer, according to a report.

No formal bid has been placed for the 25-year-old but the Scotland star is very much on their radar, claim the Daily Mail.

Pep Guardiola's side sold Oleksandr Zinchenko to the Gunners earlier in the transfer window and now they are interested in reversing the transfer traffic.

Tierney is back fit after missing part in Arsenal’s pre-season USA tour due to injury. He is expected to take part in today's game against Leicester City where he will face up to old boss Brendan Rodgers.

Any deal would cost significantly more than the £25m spent on securing his services from Celtic and the Hoops are set to benefit if a transfer happens.

As part of the negotiations, a 15 percent sell-on was included in the contract which means any sum over the original transfer will see a large tranche head to Glasgow.

So, for example, if Tierney was to move north for £50m. Celtic would be set to receive a further and significant £3.75m boost to their own coffers.
