Rangers legend Neil McCann is adamant that Rangers got a good result with a 2-2 draw against PSV despite losing both goals to set-pieces.

Rangers travel to Eindhoven on Wednesday knowing any win will put them through to the Champions League.

The Dutch side are known to be a danger from balls into the box, with targetman Luuk de Jong renowned for his ability in the air.

However, McCann was far from impressed with how his old team handled the obvious threat posed.

He told the BBC: "I don't think 2-2 is a bad result whatsoever. They got a bit of fortune with Tom Lawrence's goal but when you sit down and think - they have conceded two goals from two set-pieces with ease.

"The firsts one is dreadful, the second one is right up there. Having watched it again Obispo is unmarked and just wanders in.

"It's a terrific header. Sangare is unmarked for the first goal. That's when questions have to be asked at set-pieces.

"Coaches generally give set pieces out. What's the set-up?

"We know that PSV are good from set-pieces. They're big, they are physical and we know they are a threat.

"So that means the homework needs to be done and people need to know their jobs.

"Now whether Goldson is in a zonal area (I don't know). But that guy walks in and gets a free header to punish Rangers.

"So on reflection, you will think 'we could have been going to Eindhoven with a lead tonight' but again (we were undone by something) really sloppy."
