HIBS have reportedly been in contact with the SFA over 'refereeing inconsistencies' in the 2-2 draw against Rangers.

It's claimed Easter Road chiefs have been in touch with referee chief Crawford Allan over decisions made in the heated Scottish Premiership clash.

Rangers were awarded a penalty, Hibs had claims for one of their own denied before Willie Collum sent off both John Lundstram and Alfredo Morelos.

Ibrox chiefs first appealed Lundstram's red card for a challenge on Jake Doyle-Hayes before raising concerns over Collum's display.

And now the Edinburgh Evening News claim Hibs have also contacted head of refereeing operations Allan over the refereeing in the match.

It's suggested one of the main issues for Hibs chiefs comes from the decision to award Rangers a penalty in the first-half before Hibs' claims later in the match were waved away.

Collum had pointed to the spot when Rocky Bushiri was ruled to have fouled Antonio Colak in the box.

However, Hibs were denied a spot-kick despite fierce appeals after James Tavernier was involved in - what they believe to be - a similar incident with Bushiri in the other box.

Rangers went ahead through Tavernier's penalty before Martin Boyle levelled for the hosts. Tom Lawrence restored Rangers' lead before the hour but Josh Campbell's stoppage time strike earned a point for Hibs.

Rangers were reduced to nine-men after going 2-1 up with Lundstram shown a red for his professional foul on Doyle-Hayes before Morelos was sent off for a swipe at  Marvin Cabraja.
