NEIL MCCANN has roasted Alfredo Morelos insisting he hopes the Colombian striker is "sick" of the Rangers Champions League celebrations.
Morelos was axed from the Light Blues squad for their play-off match with PSV due to fitness and attitude concerns.
Rangers went on to secure group stage Champions League football thanks to a goal from Antonio Colak, and Neil McCann hopes qualification will hurt Morelos.
He said on BBC Sportsound: “Alfredo Morelos is irrelevant tonight. I hope Morelos is watching at home and he’s sick that he’s not joining his teammates (celebrating) because of his attitude.
"Giovanni van Bronckhorst made a big call, it looked like it could have been one of those ones because of his European record, I am delighted it didn't matter.
"It's that number 9 Colak who has been superb you have to say for Rangers. He put them out last year with Malmo.
"He has made up for it now with the Rangers fans I bet you."
