UNITED STATES boss Gregg Berhalter will make a flying visit to Glasgow to check on the progress of three Old Firm World Cup hopefuls this weekend.
The first derby clash of the campaign sees Giovanni van Bronckhorst's side head to Parkhead on Saturday aiming to overturn their two-point deficit to the champions in the Premiership standings.
And Berhalter will be one of the interested neutrals amongst a 60,000-strong crowd as James Sands and Malik Tillman attempt to inspire Rangers to victory and pole position in the title race.
Sands and Tillman have been impressive performers for Van Bronckhorst's side so far this term and have dreams of a place in the Stars and Stripes squad for the Qatar finals later this year.
The US will face England, Wales and Iran and Celtic stopper Cameron Carter-Vickers is also aiming to earn himself a spot in Berhalter's plans in the coming months.
The 49-year-old will watch his three cap hopefuls bid for derby victory and Glasgow bragging rights before heading to Portugal to run the rule over Boavista right-back Reggie Cannon as the American coaching staff clock up the air miles and check up on a handful of their Europe-based stars.
