Premiership broadcast partner Sky Sports have a plan to deal with potentially offensive chants about the Queen's passing at tomorrow's match between St Mirren and Celtic.

The Daily Mail reports the Rupert Murdoch-owned satellite company will "turn down" microphones should any anti-monarch sentiment emanate from the crowd.

They will even go as far as turning off mics completely if necessary having been contacted by Ofcom to ensure they meet guidelines on any protest.

It remains to be seen if there will be any issue with a minute's applause scheduled before the 12pm kick-off in Paisley or indeed, during the match itself.
