GRAEME SOUNESS is reportedly set to leave Sky Sports at the end of the current season.

The ex-Rangers player and manager has been on the box working as a pundit for 16 years.

The 69-year-old has never been afraid to make his opinions known or challenge others on their views.

He now appears once a week on talkSPORT alongside Jim White and Simon Jordan on top of his TV work.

But it would appear that the Scotland hero's time with Sky is coming to an end.

Here are five of his best moments from his time with the broadcaster so far...

'It was the way you looked'

Souness has previously said that he didn't always like the tag of being a hardman on the pitch.

However, when you watch this clip it's easy to see why people feel that way about him even now.

In the aftermath of a Manchester United vs Liverpool clash, Souness was asked if he thought his old club played well.

It's fair to say he didn't like what he saw after he gave his response.

Paul Pogba

It's become a thing over the years that Souness appears to have it out for Paul Pogba.

He's now away from Old Trafford, so perhaps that's partly the reason why he's ready to step away from Sky... joking, of course.

In this particular example of various criticisms, Souness argues with Jamie Redknapp about a Pogba tackle when facing Spurs in 2018.

Souness insisted Pogba should've been sent off, stating: "If the referee doesn’t see that as a foul, then he knows nothing about football either."

Clash with Neville over Ronaldo influence

Just over a year ago Cristiano Ronaldo took the Premier League by storm by returning to Man United.

He enjoyed a fruitful start to his second stint at the club.

However, questions were continually raised about whether he made United a better team or whether he actually improved their chances of competing for the title.

This was down to his lack of pressing ability - which as Souness states is the way all the best teams like to make nowadays.

On Super Sunday in 2021, Souness gave his thoughts on the matter, Gary Neville gave his thoughts and boom, a friendly dispute broke out.

And poor Pogba... "You had to throw him into the mix as well, sorry."

Thierry told off

Some Scots don't like being interrupted, as Arsenal hero Thierry Henry found out.

After a draw between Tottenham and the Gunners, Henry spoke when Souness was putting his point across to host Ed Chamberlain.

However, Souness stopped Henry in his tracks with an “I'm talking!”.

League Cup draw

If looks could kill, eh?

When conducting the 2014 Capital One Cup semi-final draw down south, Redknapp paired Liverpool and Chelsea together.

At the time, the Stamford Bridge club were on good form and Souness' beloved Reds were faced with a tough challenge to get through to the final.
