MOTHERWELL are working closely with Police Scotland after missiles were thrown towards Rangers' players at Fir Park on Sunday.

Photos emerged from the weekend's game which showed vapes being aimed in the direction of the Gers stars.

An investigation was launched in the aftermath of the game by 'Well chiefs.

Now, the Scottish Sun report that CCTV evidence is being poured over following the ugly incidents during Sunday's match.

The report states that Steelmen bosses are prepared to hand out the toughest form of punishment to those who are found guilty. This could include indefinite stadium bans, with one 15-year-old already reportedly banned as a result.

The objects were launched from a section of the John Hunter Stand closest to the Tommy McLean Stand, which housed the travelling Rangers support.

Antonio Colak and Borna Barisic could be seen expressing their anger to referee David Dickinson over the missiles.

The report states that SPFL delegate Tim Love is expected to highlight the situation in his match report.

It’s said that Rangers are content that Motherwell and Police Scotland will deal with the matter.
