TONIGHT'S match between Hibernian and St Johnstone will be a momentous one for Scottish football - as it is the first time that VAR will be in use in the cinch Premiership.
The technology has been implemented elsewhere - with mixed results - and has been used in Scotland before for European fixtures and international games.
This evening's encounter at Easter Road will be the first occasion that an all-Scottish team of officials will be using the video review system and former Chris Sutton is expecting controversy to follow suit.
Ahead of kick-off, the former Celtic striker posted on social media as he outlined his concerns over VAR's introduction with his tongue firmly in his cheek.
Sutton wrote on Twitter: "Looking forward to the introduction of VAR in Scotland tonight.
